First of all I’m going to introduce myself: My name is Aracelia, I live in Mexico City and I accept it: I’m addicted to horses, to Dressage and buying stuff in tack shops or anything that has a horse on it.
Now that we got that out of the way I want to talk about why I’m starting this space. I really like to read equestrian blogs to learn tips and tricks, and also to see how other people lives this passion for horses. But I haven’t found anything from Latin america that hasn’t got to do with bull fighting -as you can predict I’m really not a fan- sooooo that’s why I decided to start this space. To give glimpse and record my experiences with horses from this part of the world.

I want this blog to record my progress as a Dressage rider, and to share the experiences I have gathered since my mom sat me on a horse when I was 2 and that we all lean how wonderful are these animals. But now is the time I would ask my self: Who is she to say this stuff? Well I’m a Dressage rider that has show up to Young Riders and was fortunate to represent Mexico on 1 occasion. I’m also a national Basic Dressage Judge, FEI Steward of Para-Equestrian, Dressage and Eventing and was lucky enough to have stewarded in the 2012 London Paralympic games. Right now I’m the assistant of Dressage Committee of my Federation, also I am the show secretary of the show that they organise. And as you read before I have shared 25 years with horses -that makes me 27- and well even if I learnt very little through the years I think I can share some the many things that have happened to me.
I think I have written too much, you guys are going to set the tone for this blog. And please tell me what you want to see in it. Hope you enjoy it!
P.D. Remember that English is not my mother tongue. If I make mistakes please let me know to keep improving 🙂
