TACK HAUL AT: EPPLEJECK

 

Hello hello … hope everyone had a lovely week! This week I’ll share with you the goodies from my trip to Epplejeck.

What I bought?

• Global snaffle bridle in black with gold hardware
• Navy Epplejeck lead rope
• Green, white and red Epplejeck lead rope
• Rubber spur protectors
• Pretrie colour cream
• BR stock tie

The bridle was by far the best deal, with a regular price of €59.95 to €29.95. I don’t particularly like blingy brow bands and for those who know me I really like gold hardware, so this bridle was a gift from heaven. The noseband is not very wide and has a simple buckle, but Rumor doesn’t need more. The leather quality feels quite good, lets see how it hold with regular use. Sorry I could not find the link to this model 🙁 .

 

I really like braided leap ropes because in my experience they tend to last more. Both of them ended up having a discount so the navy was €4.46 and the multicolor €5.06. The 2 are the epplejeck brand and for the price the snap it’s plenty good quality. I selected the navy because it’s Rumor’s color and the multicolor has Mexico’s national colors 🇲🇽 that it’s really hard to come by. There was also a halter in those colors, but at the store was only in Pony size 🙁 . Searching the epplejeck website I found it and plan to order it at some point. 

 

When you have a expensive pair of boots having spur protectors is a must! Those little buggers really  damage the heels of the boots. And since I left my protectors in Mexico I nedded a pair. They had no discount and were €3.95.

Also for my boots the color cream. My every day boots are the Petrie Anky Dressage Elegance and I have had them for over 10 years (first as my show boots and now everyday) but I really take good care of them. Usually I use a regular shoe color cream, but since it’s targeted to tall boots and the same brand I decided to give it a go for €4.95. There is also a cleaning kit that seem good, but let’s try this one first. 

 

And the stock tie, for those who know me I have been searching for a pre-tied stock tie that I like for at least 4 years. They are either have too much bling or the fabric is too shiny or too expensive … and I was giving up to finding one until I saw this baby. It was instant love. Pure white fabric and not really shiny and the silver detail are really discreet. This one I didn’t bought it myself, it was a gift from my mom 🙂 , but priced at €19.95 it’s a good deal.
