Hello hello ….. Last month I had the opportunity to go to Amsterdam with my mom, and obviously we went to a tack shop near(ish) the city. Because co’mon going to Netherlands and not visiting anything related to horses :p .

 

We originally wanted to go to Het Gareel to a saddle fitting, but because of schedules and the distance from Amsterdam we were not able to go. A quick internet search led me to Epplejeck. With an English webpage, multiple known brands as: Ariat, Pikeur, Kingsland, Eurostar, Petrie, and several locations they had me. CONTINUE READING

OFFICIAL’S DIARIES: STEWARDING AT CLUB HIPPIQUE DE NICE’S SUMMER CDI

 

Hello hello….. How have you been? This time I want to share my experience of being a Steward at Nice’s Summer CDI.

 

The event was hosted by the Club Hippique de Nice. The show included a CDI3*, CDIYH, CDIP, CDICh, CDIJ, CDIYR and CDIU25. It had de Phoenix Arena, the Warm Up + 10 min arena next to it and the free training arena. Parallel to the CDI the OC ran a national show, but we honestly didn’t saw each other. DEALING WITH NOT BEING THE WINNER

 

Don’t get me wrong I am really not a good looser, but not with others, almost always with me because of the high standards I set for myself. And even if I win the class, sometimes I’m not happy with my performance, because I could have done this or that better, I know I’m a perfectionist …. but that’s a topic for another post.
