Hello hello How have you been?
I realized that I have talked about them but never formally introduced them. So here it goes….
SOOKIE
Sookie is a 7 yo dalmatian. And yes, she has a blue and a brown eye. We have her since she was a puppy, my mom and I were passing in front a place that was selling puppies and all of them were severly malnourished, so my mom decided to get one of them. We selected the most butt wiggly and goofy of them all: Sookie. Her name comes from the character of TrueBlood that we really liked – and yes sometimes we say her name as Bill soookieeeee hahaha. Originally was my mom’s but we started having such a strong connection that my mom gifted her to me. She is the alfa of the pack (in my mom’s property there are 7 dogs in total) and she is a very loyal and guard us. Fun fact she likes to gives hugs, as in she stands in 2 feet and puts her front feet around your waist.
I wanted her to come to France but we decided that she is happier with lots of space to run and with her ”sisters”.
ANUBIS
Anubis is a 2 yo 3/4 Australian shepherd mix + 1/4 unknown. Her name comes from the fact that if you see her profile she looks like the Egyptian god. I adopted her at our old barn when she was a puppy, her mom had a litter of puppies and all of them were adopted except the little one, she used to follow me everywhere as a minuscule ball of fur so eventually I caved as took her home. She is the biggest funny weirdo that exists, loves to be in dark places and under beds and furniture, I’m not kidding when I say the picture above was the best I could take from her. Loves cuddles and is really sweet (when she is not being super weird about everything haha).
I’m the only person she really listen to and becomes a bit more sociable.
CALIPSO
Calipso is a 11yo Westphalian mare. She was born with us. She is the most diva mare that you have ever seen, to the point that some times you take a treat to her stall and looks at you like I have better things to do peasant and turn away hahaha. But after years of trying she kinda likes me (kinda being the important word). She is super super clean, not only for a grey but for any horse standard. Her name comes from her personality: stormy than can change in a minute.
I rode her a bit when was younger, but decided that she will better as a mother. She is Rumor’s mother.
So those are my furry babies. Tell me about yours.

Your fur babies are so cute! I miss living on a farm! my only fur baby is a very fat cat named Maybelline. SHe is a rescue, and we have had her for about 9 years. We think she is about 11. I have two human babies ages 3 and 1, so I am going to wait until they are older and when we are in a new house to get more fur babies.
